The Goodies was written by and starred Tim Brooke-Taylor, Graeme Garden and Bill Oddie and was an instant success with its mixture of outrageous humour and visual effects. The characters were instantly recognisable stereotypes: Tim, the champion of everything British, Bill the bearded hippie in his rebel combat jacket and Graeme, the mad scientist dreaming up new and impossible schemes. Together they were the Goodies, complete with their own unique style of transport - a three-seater tandem. With thousands of fans around the world, one of their greatest fans was Prince Charles who even offered to play himself in the episode "The Existence of Rolf Harris".







DISC 1



RADIO GOODIES



Tardiness on the Goodies part means their application to establish a new radio station is rejected but the Goodies have their own plan: "For the sound sensation of the nation listen to Radio Goodies."



COME DANCING



Tim's illusions about 'Come Dancing' are shattered when a team competing in the semi-finals collapse after being drugged.



MOVIES



Britain's film studios are being closed down; the Goodies purchase Pine Tree Studios and become producers in a bid to revitalise the film industry.



SOUTH AFRICA



The Goodies are recruited by the South African Tourist Office to make a film encouraging people to visit the country.







DISC 2



BUNFIGHT AT THE O.K. TEA ROOMS



The Goodies' search for wealth leads them to Cornwall and a mine of Cornish cream, which Graeme is keen to exploit at the expense of Tim and Bill.



THE END



Graeme's concrete city designs for an unscrupulous property developer end in disaster when the Goodies' office is encased in a 350 foot block of concrete.



SCOUTRAGEOUS



"Who were those masked scouts?" Boy Scouts everywhere are on the run as the Goodies succeed in having the organisation declared illegal by the government. PUNKY BUSINESS



The punk phenomenon grips Britain as grannies reject niceness and the Goodies take to the road in search of the latest fad.
