Fantastic for kids AND adults

Although i was sckeptical abut yet another cindrella "reinvisioning" i was pleasantly surprised by ella enchanted. It offers a magical setting to keep the kids attention and a great story with some excellent lines to keep the adults interested. The best thing about this movie was that it was minimal on the fluffy patronising stuff they usually cram into kids movies. Overall a movie that you can watch as a family without sighing "oh please" and wondering when they're just going to get to the end so you can escape, and with a strong female charachter who doesn't swoon at the first sight of prince charming it sets a good example for young girls. I give it 4 out of 5, because there are a few cheesy lines and prince charming was a bit smarmy.
