shaun of the dead is a very hilarious and seriously quirky parody of Dawn of the dead with heaps of humour. The Humour in the movie is so much funnier than the Americans. Worth your $15 to buy it. This film is a must have in ANY dvd collection
The Best Zombie Movie and Comedy

Shaun of the Dead is an enjoyable, must see comedy. Simon Pegg is an excellent actor, and I love his work, eg Space and Hot Fuzz.
While Hot Fuzz is a comedy of cops, this is a zombie comedy and a superior one. Even if you approach it as a serious movie, it works, and can even be quite scary at times. You laugh out loud at all the little things you notice, such as Shaun's walk to the dairy and the acting of Ed (Nick Frost). The scenes all fit together perfectly, it is not drawn out nor is it too slow. That makes this movie easy to watch over and over, it is a memorable movie and an instant classic. Unlike Hot Fuzz which did draw out a bit and was quite long, Shaun of the Dead is at a perfect time. Even the ending is excellent.
Shaun of the Dead has become well known, and for those looking for an excellent comedy, that is actually comedy, not like Date Movie, Napoleon Dynamite etc. This is a must have to watch and buy and laugh at and enjoy. This movie is superior than any American comedies, that resort to obvious gags and jokes to be funny, whereas in this movie, the dialogue is hilarious, and worth turning on the subtitles!
Go ahead, at this price, it is definitely not a waste of money!

Best Romantic Zombie Comedy Ever

If i had never seen this movie i wouldn't have thought it possible for a blending of genres like this to work. Yet everything falls into place so great its a wonder it hasn't been done this well before. If you want to see a good zombie movie, buy this one. If you want to see a classic comedy, buy this one. If you want a great romance, well, buy titanic or something. This is a film that will appeal to a small audience of people that don't need their comedy to smack them in the head with its over the top stylings. Classic moments in this movie include; shauns walks to the local store pre zombies and post zombies, also trying to kill two wayward zombies with their record collection. This is a must have DVD
