Product Description
The year is 2008. Information Warfare has evolved into the most dangerous threat to global stability. You are Sam Fisher, Third Echelon's most skilled Splinter Cell operative. You are assigned to execute a hazardous series of operations to investigate and eliminate a new source of information attacks, originating in North Korea. To succeed, you will employ a host of unconventional counterintelligence activities to gather intel, disrupt enemy operations and neutralize adversary targets.
As Information Warfare evolves, so must the Splinter Cell. You must penetrate deeper into hostile territory and operate undetected, closer to the enemy than ever before. At your disposal is a lethal array of tactics ranging from Combat Knife techniques, experimental prototype weapons skills, and more radical hand-to-hand techniques such as the Inverted Chokehold. Experience the thrill of acting as a lone operative fighting tomorrow's threats in the field, and of cooperating online with a partner to accomplish crucial missions. Die in action, and the free world dies with you.

Very Cool

I wanted to get Double Agent but don't have a good enough PC and was didn't thing this one was going to be good but I was very wrong. The are so many ways to do things thin in the first one e.g opining a door you can now kick a door open good when someone is next to it on the other side.Heaps of new moves and now you can use a knife to kill or as a tool.Graphics and sound are very good and my PC can run it all on high it's like a movie it scary watching the enemy walk right past you as you standing agents the wall in the dark.
If you played the first or second one and don't have this one get it it's cool.
Awesome!

I played the first version of this game but wasn't entirely impressed, good storyline, nice graphics but far too linear for my liking especially since it was a stealth game.
I didn't think I would purchase another one but I saw the cover read the back and inside, it was cheap and had an awesome online rating. So installed the game not expecting much different.
Instantly I was suprised really nice graphics great sound and exciting gameplay, new moves and new weapon attachments and he carries a knife..
I'm up to about the 6th level in the game some missions are intense this game has definate replay value...Who could ask for less being able to snatch a guy in the dark in the middle of a conversation!
This game is like taking part in an interactive movie!
All I can say is bring on Splinter Cell: Double Agent
Wow!

I am happy to announce that Sam Fisher isn’t ready to be thrown back into retirement just yet.
Once more, Sam progresses through ten huge levels in his usual dry, detached manner. This time, however, each level comprises of multiple paths to proceed from point A to point B. For example, the player can choose whether to take out the lights in a room and gradually eliminate the enemy one by one, or to avoid them completely by taking a route through the air conditioning ducts.
I didn’t think I would ever see better graphics than Pandora Tomorrow but Ubisoft have done the impossible. The graphics are so incredibly detailed, that it seems all the world like an interactive movie. Curtains sway lazily in the breeze, moonlight filters through the trees and candles flicker in gloomy rooms (and, yes, you can blow them out).
The sound is absolutely brilliant. Sam proceeds through his world to the accompaniment of the sound of raindrops, wind and surrounding machinery. I love it when you’ve taken down an enemy and you can hear his walkie-talkie crackling and someone saying “Is everything alright down there? Answer me!”
The music is, as usual, the perfect accompaniment to the game. They hired Amon Tobin to write and record the soundtrack, and it’s so good they have even made it available to buy separately. I’ve ordered mine and it should arrive this week.
In short, this game is a must buy. Be warned though, you need a fairly powerful machine to do it justice but, if you have a high-end graphics card, Chaos Theory is an absolute stunner.
I only hope they are planning a fourth one…
