It's great

Blizzard really managed to rejuvenate World of Warcraft with this expansion.
The new areas and quests are all significantly better designed and more fun than previously.
Basically, the same game, but better than before.
One Word - Boring.

Being a long time level 60, after spending at least 4 days playing the expansion I realized that I had just wasted 70 dollars.
I have quit WoW now.
The expansion was just a rerun of what we have already done just with different models/scenery.
Plus all the new areas are like the old ones just merged together.
Buy it if you want, but I surely dont recommend it.
Thumbs down.
Its a great Expansion

I bought this the day it came out and i like the 2 New races cant wait till i can get to Outland and am glad there is a lot of new stuff i would reccomend it to all. the new racial traits suit both of the new races which is good i have been thoroughly enjoying this expansion. the new starting area quests and the new profession looks really fun.
i suggest anyone who is thinking of playing WoW to get this expansion it will increase your experiance of the game and make it more fun.
Great

I have been a great fan of blizzard games Diablo series, Warcraft and Starcraft. I think it is fair to say that this will be a great addon and from what little I've managed to do so far it looks well polished and presented with no bugs or problems.
Should be great!

No clue what the last guy is smoking, but Burning Crusade will add more content then almost any other expansion I have ever seen. Outland includes numerous 5, 10 and 25 man dungeons to explore and acquire loot from plus the Heroic mode which is available at level 70 to get even better loot from 5 mans. It also includes the new Arena PvP system, a new PvP battleground. And not to mention the 2 new races and the new contenent of Outland which is about half the size of the Eastern Kingdoms. How this amounts to just 'a few extras' is beyond me. He has either never played the beta, never read any information about it or is terribly jaded about the game. If any of those are the case kindly don't post reviews on the game.
I had to Settle...

WoW isnt the best MMORPG ever made by blizzard, but its the only one thats not of poor quality and full of hackers. Im a huge Diablo fan and would have to say that online was great untill people destroyed it.
If you have A LOT of time on your hands and you dont like going outside then this is the best option to take. yeah you pay about 20$ a month or something. But your payin for a clean game. Adds are appearing and people trying to make money off this game are around. but still dont effect your gameplay.
~NOTE~ It is suggested to not play this game while you are going to school unless you want your grades to fall as WoW is very addictive! And with this expansion and more levels to gain dont be shocked when your next report card comes around and it is a lot worse!
stunning

So long as the blood elve's ears don't flap around like with the night elve's, I'll be very happy with this expansion. If you want to grasp just how incredible the Burning Crusade will be, just take a look at some of the screenshots of the new areas.
Can't wait.

I've also played the Beta and I must say the new features they're adding to it makes this a must get. This expansion caters to a lot of casual players, especially with the 25 man cap on new end-game dungeons, and the PvP changes make a lot of gear accessible to those who can't play for more than a couple of hours a day.
Just awesome.

Well, I've been playing the beta and can say that I'm hooked, it adds more content than possibly imaginable. Blizzard has learned from many of its mistakes and has created what seems like an entirely new game. Leveling from 60-70 is fun and with the constant stream of quests and instances, theres always something to do, PvP has also become alot more enjoyable with a new Battleground and nearly every zone in outlands having a PvP objective, in one such zone a town that sides can compete for control over via aerial bombing runs .. quests have become alot more inventive as well, theres alot less "find and kill 10 of these" sort of things. Although i've only experienced a little theres a HUGE amount of things to do once your 70.. I did a run of Kharazan and was completley mind blown, 5 stars!
Expect it to do well

re: recipient_unown
In perspective of expansions for MMO's this is a pretty big product.
a 25% land mass increase on the current game world is huge- coupled with things which should have been with the original game, extra instances, 10 more levels (which subsequently take much longer to level up - Level 59-60 is around 200k experience, whereas 60-61 is 400k. I can't imagine how much it will take from 69-70), more phat lewts, pvp, i can go on.
Meh.......

This game will hardly make game of the year, its just adding on a few extras to the original, with no doubt just as many problems to match. A new class would have been nice, and although Blizzard has stated they they won't due to balancing problems, I'm sure if they could be bothered to they would. This shows as well as the content of the previous patches and various support issues that Blizzard aren't putting enough time and more importantly money that they could and should into the game. I for one have decided to switch my game focus to other games such as Dragon Quest VIII and soon The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, which, in my opinion, are more worthwhile gaming investments, but thats just me...
Brilliant

Have played the Beta test extensively, and I must say, it's no less than superb. The new raid dungeons kick ass, the difficulty is just right, and the new armor tier sets 4-5 look INCREDIBLE, unlike the rather lacklustre effects of some of the current sets (warlock tier3, for example)... This will be the game of the year, without doubt..

Just something new to whats already posted, Blizzard has announced the new Alliance Race which will be "Wisps" which helped defeat the Archimonde on the "Battle of Mount Hyjal" by self destructing themselves,
One negative thing about "Burning Crusade" is that if you die as a wisp, you die for good and you must reroll your wisp :(
