As a person who cut their gaming teeth on PS1 Tomb Raider games,I reckon this is a vast improvement on the last version that came out for PS2 [can't even remember the name,it was so unmemorable]
Lara looks great,has got a lot of new tricks and equipment,they got the balance right as far as difficulty goes and is not impossible to finish without guides like "The last revelation" was,the only thing is that it is relatively short [as almost all new games are]compared to other Tomb Raiders except for that unmentionable one.
The Last Revelation is probably still my fav [more cinematic + about 5 times bigger]but the graphics,physics,controls in Legend are far superior.
I highly recommend this for any TR fan,in fact it has a lot more appeal now to non TR fans as well.
