hack, slash, health potion, mana potion, pick up treasure - oh bugger inventory full, teleport back to town sell treasure for money (already got more money than I can spend), teleport back to original location and repeat and repeat and repeat, etc - tedious, uninspired and absolutely no challenge whatsoever.
Alright for kids

About all I can say about this game is it looks good. It's amazingly detailed and there are tons of different weapons and armour to customise your character with. Fighting is definitely the main focus of the game. You spend nearly all of your time running across country and in caves or tombs hacking down hoards of boring, push-over monsters (and the occasional tough ones) so you can take their loot and sell it to buy some new, swanky bit of armour or weapon. There's a story (barely) and main quest line but all that does is give you a reason to travel on to the next region. There are side quests but for the most part you would accomplish them anyway in the course of running around killing everything. It's pretty basic sort of stuff. This is about as superficial a game as you can possibly get.
The environments look lovely but the monsters aren't done particularly well. You're apt to miss out on most of the detail because you have to zoom out all the way in order to see what's ahead. That's especially important if you want to use a bow or magic. What would alleviate this somewhat is the ability to scroll the camera around but it's static, with you pinned in the middle of the screen.
The only reason I bought this game is I was desperate for an RPG. But it's sadly lacking as a role playing game. If all you want is some mindless hacking and slashing with a shiny new game engine then fine. But if you're a more sophisticated gamer I can't imagine this keeping you interested for very long. It bored me to tears.
