Based on TRANSFORMERS, DreamWorks Pictures and Paramount Pictures’ upcoming live-action feature film due out July 4th, and produced in association with Hasbro, TRANSFORMERS: The Game lets gamers control the outcome in the battle for Earth as they choose to protect it as AUTOBOTS or destroy it as DECEPTICONS. Players will also experience the unstoppable power and massive scale of their favorite ROBOTS IN DISGUISE such as BUMBLEBEE, BARRICADE and others.

More than meets the eye...?

This game is ok...good graphics. Nothing exciting...I find being a decepticon more fun :D
Autobots...Roll Out!
Doesn't live up to the movie.

I picked this game up in the states a week ago and found it sadly disappointing - not living up to the movie's standards.
Not really "open-world" the missions are rather linear with small enviroments compared to other free roam games such as GTA. The enviroment is "fully destructable" but is very unsatisfying with buildings crumbling from the lightest touch. Most guns are ineffective versus bosses and the majority of fighting is spent doing the few different combos which get old quick.
Though some of the transformations are cool and the inclusion of Generation 1 models is certainly a nice bonus, the game itself is not much fun at all. Many of the Autobot missions are the same experience repeated-- you'll race in circles around the city, stop to battle some mindless AI Decepticons, and race again in circles through the city before punching some more enemies.
Another disappointing movie liscensed game.
