I am now a three month veteran! YAY! Basically listen to what others said. I have been a fairly hard core console gamer for the majority of my life. I haven't touched a console for the last three months. The twelth patch/expansion has just been released and i hear that the other day (sometime in the end of May 08) there were 500,000 or so people online on the US severs (South Pacific uses US servers). Definitely worth it i hope to play for a long time yet. Hey guys, if you ever come back to see your reviews what server(s) are you on. I'm Champion add me @Jyggylag

City of Heroes and City of Villains is an intuitive, engrossing and easy to master MMO experience for the average gamer and the hard-core fan alike. Strive to become a heroic champion of Paragon City, or revel in your villanry as you seek to carve out a name for yourself in the Rogue Isles. While predominantly a PvE experience, City of Heroes and City of Villains has constantly evolved and now boasts PvP zones, battle Areans, co-operative zones and a host of content updates that are packaged as Issues, and developer and player based events that occur throughout the year.
If you've ever wanted to feel like a hero, or a villain, then I thoroughly recommend you give City of Heroes and City of Villains a go.
Please note that City of Heroes and City of Villains are subscriber based MMO games that require master account and a valid credit card or pre-paid game card to access.
Polished and fun

Simply one of the best MMORPG out there. Have been playing for 3 years now and still so much depth to uncover.
It has an intuitive control system, with excellent options for people who either like to play solo or to team up (with a fast and easy grouping system).
You will spend hours alone just creating different characters and trying out the different powers to choose from, with millions of costumer options and so many different ways to play.
What the game has that makes it different from most of the other MMORPG out there is polish. The tutorial level will take you thorugh the basics and it is intuitive sailing from there on in, you will never be stuck wondering what to do next.
The fact that you get to play as a superhero (or villain!) instead of an elf of dwarf makes it just that much more unique.
They have had 10 free expansions since launch, showing a commitment to the game, with new powers and zones and events being added all the time.
