Product Description
Wii Fit comes bundled with the Wii Balance Board, an accessory developed exclusively for the Wii console that will have a far-reaching impact for all who use it. It’s innovative, exciting and most of all fun and simple for all to use. It is a pressure sensitive, wireless balance board that goes on the floor – so someone can stand on it in front of the TV. It senses weight and shift in balance in any direction and therefore by standing on the Wii Balance Board during activities allows players to follow along to movements ensuring they have full control of the on-screen activities. This allows personal improvement goals to be set to effectively help you and your family to train and stay fit...
Increasing your awareness of the importance that fitness has on everyday life and keeping yourself and family motivated should be easier with Wii Fit. The programme allows up to 8 people to track progress and monitor performance. Once you insert the Wii Fit Disc into a Wii console, a new channel - Wii Fit Channel can be added to your Wii Menu system. Once the Wii Fit Channel is added it enables users to not have to insert the Wii Fit Disc into a Wii console in order for the Wii Balance Board to scale your weight to calculate your BMI, measure the center of your bodily balance and conduct a balance test in order to calculate your Wii Fit Age. It also allows you to monitor how long you did which category of exercise for in one day, all in the comfort of your own home and without the need to keep inserting the Wii Fit Disk into your Wii console each time.
There are 4 training categories including Aerobic Exercises, Muscle Workouts, Yoga and Balance Games that will help you and your family to develop bodily balance control ability, burn fat in the body, help tone and condition muscles, as well as help increase aerobic stamina. Discover over 40 different activities within these training categories such as Hula Hoop™, Ski Jump, Press-up Challenge, Rhythm Boxing, Rowing Squat, Lunge and classic Yoga poses such as Half Moon, Tree and Crocodile Twist. With all this on offer and much more, Wii Fit along with the Wii Balance Board introduces an accessible and intuitive programme for all the family to enjoy
Through Wii Fit’s training programme, helpful tutorials and encouragements from your on-screen fitness trainer, who will change his or her verbal instructions depending on how you actually perform, and the included Wii Fit Channel, you will continue to have endless fun whilst having the satisfaction of knowing you are aiding yourself, and your family, on towards a path of a healthier lifestyle.

Most fantastic fitness fun work out ever. Really enjoy this game. The muscle work outs are very hard and have you with sore bones in the morning. This makes fitness fun. Certainly the Chip N Dip factor. It has it all.
Superb for all Ages

Well I waited long enough for this, but the wait was worth it. The package does all that you would expect from a top of the Line Wii offer and will do more for the machine that Wii Sports. I can see in the near future this Wii Fit sitting in every Osteopath's office as he quickly and accurately checks your centre of Gravity and Balance. This is not a game.
I have always wanted to try some Yoga and this is an excellent entry into some simple Yoga exercises. The Aerobic Workouts are fun as well and the jogging is VERY realistic. It is not quite clear in the instructions that you MUST either have the Wii controller in your pocket or your hand, otherwise you don't move!!
I was never good at Hula Hoops and this is no exception! Lean to the left/right to catch the extra hoops and then get your timing all screwed up!! Fun Fun Fun!
45 Mins flies by and you realise you have had a reasonable workout (well I sweat anyway, YMMV)
Great stuff.
A must have package

I have the game now and have to say that I am very pleased with it's content. There are tons of exercises and balance games etc. to keep you going.
Every one of them is great and you can immediately see just how great this nintendo product is.
The balance board is the best bit. The balance censors and stuff work incredibly well - its amazing.
It is also really well made, which is a good added extra. Its not just a flimsy piece of plastic,
All together Wii Fit is a package unlike any other and I can't wait for several new games in development that are going to support the balance board in future.

I'm living in NZ, but lucky to have family back in Oz who have shipped me through an advance Wii fit, so I've already had a few days under my belt.
If you're expecting it to be "hard core gaming", then you'll be sad, but if you're into having fun and looking to get up off that couch, then you'll be stoked with the Wii Fit. I've done hula hoops, headbutted soccer balls, ski'ed the slalom course and gone down the river in a bubble, all of which have been fun and addictive and causing you to work on things without thinking about it.
Around 12 months ago, I was deliberating between Wii and PS3, and I'm glad I made the choice to have fun and buy a Wii. This game reinforces the difference between the two, and takes the Wii sport and Mario Olympics to a whole new level. Well done Nintendo !
A new dimension to games

I can't wait for this to come out!
Im usually a hardcore gamer (who is into COD, Halo, Bioshock etc) but the thought of a snowboading or skateboarding game that could release (and will) that allows you to actually tilt using your legs with great accuracy.
It comes with some games (on one disc) in the box but Nintendo has announced that lots of new games will fully support the Balance Board.
Therefore this will be a great investment. Thats why it has already sold tons in Japan.
