Syberia
Kate Walker, a young and brilliant lawyer from New York, has come to Europe to negotiate the purchase a famous Robot/Toy factory, but will soon have her future completely turned upside down…
The owner of the factory, Anna Voralberg, has just died. The Heir to the factory, Anna's brother, Hans, who is a genius inventor, has been missing for decades; lost somewhere between the Alps and Siberia… Kathe must find this enigmatic man to finalise the deal. But, in her journey from the West to the East, she will progressively discover and understand the reasons, which have made Hans, leave his family and never return.

Syberia 2
Syberia II will be the second and final installment of Kate Walker's joint adventures with Hans Voralberg. After leaving behind all her worldly possessions with the sole purpose in joining the heir of the Voralberg family on his journey, Kate's role will undergo a remarkable change. From being the pursuant, she becomes Hans' main acolyte, his support to attain the elapsed terra firma of the mammoths.

- The artistic approach initiated in Syberia will again take a significant presence in the sequel. As noted by Benoît Sokal, author and artistic director : "Before being a game, Syberia is most notably a story. To express Kate Walker's adventures through a medium such as a Video Game allowed us to explore a totally new artistic expression, particularly in the relationship that has been developed between the player and the story. This relationship has revealed itself as being very intimate and it is something we want to make sure to keep with Syberia II."
- A few improvements will be noticeable to Syberia II's structure thus increasing the game immersion and to deepen the game experience. Some technical advancement to the graphic engine and added in-game animation will bring more life to each scene, as the game should boast a more dynamic global environment. Also, the conversations will be generated by an evolutionary dialog system and some movie-like camera angles will offer a totally new perspective to the player controlling Kate.

Awesome Adventure

Syberia is a point and click adventure game that every adventure gamer must play. The story, the locations and atmosphere are mind blowing. The most important part in the game is the music which is so fitting and soothing and is one of the best music scores out there. The voice acting is top class, puzzle difficulty may vary from person to person and you meet a lot of interesting characters.
Part 1 was so ownage that I played part 2 immediately after it. I highly recommend you play them back to back. Please note that Syberia 1 has a superb gradual rise in moments, each one better than the one before it. Syberia 2 has ups and downs unevenly spread out over game play, not that the downs are bad, just that the ups were so awesome that the downs feel a bit out of place.
As you guessed Syberia 1 does not end and continues into 2 where the game actually ends. Be prepared for some tear jerking moments towards the ends of both part 1 and part 2. This collection is a superb masterpiece and is a must have and a must play for every adventure gamer.
