Product Description
Resident Evil Archives gives Wii gamers the opportunity to play classic Resident Evil games they may have missed at a great value price. Experience the beginning of the Resident Evil saga with the remake of the game that started the survival horror genre, Resident Evil.
The Raccoon City Police Department doesn't know what happened to the Special Tactics and Rescue Service (S.T.A.R.S.) team it sent out to investigate the Arklay Mountain area, where a number of people have recently gone missing. The unit's helicopter seems to have crashed in the woods, and it hasn't received any contact from the squad since. The department decides to dispatch another S.T.A.R.S. unit, the Alpha team, to check things out… but something goes terribly wrong.
You take control of S.T.A.R.S. Alpha team members Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine (both recently seen in the smash hit, Resident Evil 5). Your mission is to investigate the ominous mansion at the core of the horrific disaster and uncover the secrets behind a radical, genetic research facility. With unspeakable horrors lurking around every corner, the ultimate test will be to make it out alive! Relive the thrills and terror that defined the genre of Survival Horror and launched a franchise that has sold over 40 million games worldwide.
Features:

Capcom you are a genius

A while ago getting a Resident Evil remake new on the internet was a gamble, as Gamecube games have been stopped being produced.
So when you bought the game, you had to deal with 2 small disks and you have to change disk once you get passed a certain part of the game.
At first when I discovered that they were going to port this to the Wii, I was thinking, was Capcom mad, the Wii's controls are terrible for playing a game like this.
After a miracle, Gamespot partially reviewed this game.
Its a port, but it has support for both Gamecube and Wii Classic Controller.
So get this game plus a Wii Classic Controller, and you get the best Resident Evil Remake experience ever.
Another reason you should get this is because its just a little over $70, with this price you can't go wrong. Usually new releases are over $129, this is a port.
Still a port still takes awhile to compile so its worth the price.
Resident Evil fans will definitely buy it.
Zombie Games are Plentiful on Wii

I bought a Wii for resident evil and was pleasantely suprised to hear that this was being released, it means no buying the funny gamecube version with its tiny discs and improved controls and graphics. Wii have reinvented the play style of resident evil and hopefully this lives up to resident evil 4 and to a lesser extent resident evil umbrella chronicles.
