 First Grand Theft Auto IV trailer -- tomorrow!

Word through from the local Take 2 people is that the first official trailer for Grand Theft Auto IV will be released at 8am tomorrow morning Aus time.
Keep an eye on Rockstar's Website where there is an official countdown GTA IV estimated mid October release!

Codemasters announces Bodycount

Codemasters’ rumoured first-person shooter project has today been named and detailed. Called Bodycount, players will assume the role of an operative working for a shadowy organisation known as the Network. They will be employed to kill high-value “Targets” and leave no witnesses.

SEGA has today revealed more details about their upcoming third person action shooter, Vanquish. Directed by Shinji Mikami, the creator of Resident Evil, players take the role of Sam, a government agent kitted out with a futuristic battle suit. Set in a near future world, the US and Russia compete for fast-diminishing energy resources. A space station built by the US to harness the power of the sun has been captured by the Russians and turned into a weapon of mass destruction, destroying San Francisco. Sam, and others like him, have been charged with recapturing the station before it can destroy its next target, New York.

Ex-Infinity Ward bosses to sue Activison

Infinity Ward co-founders Jason West and Vince Zampella have filed a lawsuit against Activision via their legal representatives O'Melveny & Myers LLP. West and Zampella were fired earlier this week for breaches of contract and insubordination. The termination comes just weeks before they were to receive substantial royalty payments as part of their contracts for the development of the best-selling Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

Previous Borderlands DLC to get disc release

2K Games has announced today that the first two downloadable content packs for Borderlands, The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned and Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot, will be released on disc. Last week’s DLC release, The Secret Armory of General Knoxx, will not be included but can be purchased and downloaded through each platform’s online distribution channels.
