Wii gets Lost in Blue
Posted by Andrew on Saturday, 17th May 2008 @ 8:15AM
Konami today issued a press release announcing that the Lost in Blue franchise is hitting game consoles for the first time with Lost in Blue: Shipwrecked! (working title), scheduled to début on Wii this Spring. The latest instalment in the franchise, previously available only for Nintendo DS, will offer a survival adventure brimming with colourful 3D graphics and maximizing the interactive capabilities of Wii.
In Lost in Blue: Shipwrecked!, players will find themselves stranded on a mysterious island filled with forests, ancient ruins, and an active volcano. With the help of trusty pets and new friends, players can explore the mysteries of the island to find a way home, or make a new life for themselves and stay forever.
Taking full advantage of the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controls, Lost in Blue: Shipwrecked! allows players to practice survival tasks, with more than 40 mini-games including fishing, carpentry, fire-making and other cooperative games. Dependable pets provide players with an added entertainment feature by playing music or dancing throughout the game.
“Building upon the success of the previous Lost in Blue DS titles, we wanted to give fans an extended experience in the first console version of the series,” said Anthony Crouts, Vice President of Marketing for Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. “Bringing the series to Wii will ensure fans receive the most exciting, immersive survival adventure game to date.”
Lost in Blue: Shipwrecked! is scheduled to launch for Wii in Spring 2008. For more information, head over to Konami, or check out the screenshots below.
